The Directorate of Extension Education established in 1982, when the S.K. University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology came into existence in the State. The main aim of Directorate of Extension Education is to the improve quality and quantity of Agricultureal produce by narrowing down the gaps between the yields obtained at various research stations and the farmers field. In order to achieve this objective the directorate has been helping both development department functionaries and the farming community to update their technical know how through various programmes and projects and in return gets direct feedback for the research programmes for the scienctists of the university.
