The College was established by the NSS in 1957. Units of the Population Education Club and Women Study Centre are functioning in the college. Every year the college Union, PEC and WSC organize many activities like conducting lectures, seminar, symposiam, workshops, projects and surveys on topic of educational significance and eminent resource persons and are invited for this purpose.
