We

Vision CIRS was conceptualised by Param
Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayanandaji as a place where the rich
cultural heritage of India would seamlessly melt with the
modern and technological outlook of the West. Guruji said,

Philosophy

Facilities
Dormitories: The
basic living unit of students is the Chhatralaya (Students Hostel),
managed by the Resident House Master, who is also a faculty member.
He/She is always available to students for personal counseling and
guidance. Being a co-educational school, separate chhatralayas exist
for boys and girls. A full time Matron/Warden is also available in
each Chhatralaya to look after the welfare and needs of students,
who are nurtured and groomed through love, affection, persuasion instead
of harsh methods.
Dormitories extends the following facilities: Spacious, well-ventilated and fly-proof dormitories.
Common bathrooms for each dormitory fitted with all modern facilities.
Abundant hot and cold water for bathing. Water Coolers with Aqua Guard.
Comfortable beds with Kurlon mattresses and pillows with adequate
bed linen. Mosquito net provided for each bed. Wardrobes for each
student. Spacious common rooms equipped with televisions, music systems,
reading materials and number of indoor games. The entire student body
is divided into four houses to encourage house spirit and healthy
competition. Each house is guided by a House Master.
Co-Curricular Activities
SPORTS:
Sports and games form an important part of the student's life. These
have been given adequate stress and included in the School routine
to promote good health, self confidence, team spirit besides providing
them the need recreation. A wide range of excellent sports facilities
including a 25 meter modern swimming pool are available. The school
has well-qualified full time physical education teachers to supervise
and coordinate the various sports activities. The budding talents
are given special coaching in their respective disciplines by experts
and offered maximum opportunity to participate in the district and
sate level inter school competitions. The students of the school
have won mane prizes in the competitions.Inter house sports competitors
are as integral part of the co-curricular activities and held throughout
the year to promote house spirit and sportsmanship.

JOGGING AND YOGA:
To meet the physical & mental needs of the students, the school
pays special attention to jogging and yoga which are an integral
part of the school daily routine.
ADVENTURE SPORTS:
With the hilly terrain around the school campus, students are given
adequate opportunity in mountaineering, trekking and rock climbing
and paradrop. During vacations, students are encouraged to join
various adventure camps organized by many private agencies.

As part of the overall personality development programme, students
are encouraged to participate in various hobbies and activities,
such as Martial Arts(Taek Won Do), Electronics, Cookery, Vocal and
Instrumental Music, Fine Arts, Dance, Clay Modeling, Painting, Gardening,
